Congratulations to the winners of the top awards at this year’s Perform in Perth – (l-r) Breanna Hay (Crieff High School) – the Joan and Stewart Tennant Quaich for the best in vocal classes under 18); Daisy Richards (St Mary’s Music School, Edinburgh) – the Gold Medal in memory of Miss Elspeth Stirling Gold Medal for the highest mark, 87 and over, in the Advanced and Open String classes; Isabel Hathaway (Glenalmond College) – the Larg Rosebowl for competition among the winners of the Advanced Solo Instrumental classes; (Glenalmond College) – Iona Melloy (Jambouree Choir and Cabaret Singers, Perth) – the Silver Medal in Scots Song Class and the Music Industries Council Cup for best individual competitor in Vocal classes); Angus Sloan (Perth Academy) – the Premier Percussion Co.’s Shield for Drum Kit Solo classes); Andrew Hart (Crieff High School) – the Stuart McNab Trophy for the highest mark, 87 and over, in the Open and Advanced Flute classes and the Premier Trophy for competition among the winners of the Open Solo Instrumental classes; Eva Seba (Community School of Auchterarder) – (Premier Percussion Co.’s Shield for Snare Drum Solo classes); Reuben McFarlane (Morrison’s Academy) – the Thomas J Stewart Memorial Award for the highest mark, 87 and over, in the Advanced and Open Brass classes; Arthur Moss (Glenalmond College) – Premier Class finalist; Ben Bradshaw (Glenalmond College) – Louis J Barnett Trophy for the highest mark, 87 and over, in the Advanced and Open Woodwind Classes; Annabel Brown (Glenalmond College) – the John Ritchie Cup for the best performance in the Songs from the Shows classes.

The awards were presented at St Leonard’s-in-the-Fields Church, Perth, by the final night’s adjudicator, Libby Crabtree.

Winners who are missing from the photo are – Andrew Robertson (Kinross High School) – the Premier Percussion Co.’s Shield for Timpani Solo Classes) and Joshua Patterson (Community School of Auchterarder) – the Premier Percussion Co.’s Shield for Xylophone Classes).
