An afternoon of vibrant baton twirling performances took place at Three Court Hall, North Inch Community Campus, on Saturday 14 March, featuring competitors from across the local area. The event, adjudicated by Jo Ritchie, showcased a wide range of talent across multiple age categories, from the youngest beginners to senior performers.
Due to a technical fault, video footage of the event has been broadcast without sound. Viewers are therefore invited to enjoy the visual spectacle of the routines, which highlight the skill, precision and choreography of all participants.
Proceedings began at 1:00 pm with Class T01 (Babies, age 5 and under), where Mollie Watt and Lachlan Lawrie, both representing Fair City Baton Twirlers, delivered confident and enthusiastic performances.
At 1:15 pm, Class T02 (Tots, age 6 to 8) saw four competitors—Callie Lawrie, Kayla Boag, Ava Kermath and Skye Patterson—take to the floor, each demonstrating growing technical ability and stage presence.
Despite the absence of audio in the broadcast footage, the event remains a celebration of dedication and talent within the baton twirling community, with performers of all ages demonstrating impressive commitment to their craft.
The largest class of the afternoon followed at 1:40 pm with Class T03 (Tinies, age 9 to 11). Eight competitors from Fair City Baton Twirlers, including Maya Watson, Daisy McGilligan, Myah Lawrie, Julia Trebacz, Scarlet Boag, Gabriella Silverio-Wilson, Grace Todd and Amelia-Phoenix Porter, impressed with polished routines and strong coordination.
At 2:25 pm, Class T04 (Juniors, age 12 to 15) featured Billie Mackie, Faye McGilligan and Zara Lawrie, each delivering composed and technically accomplished performances.
