A recording is now available of the Tuesday morning session (17 March) held at St Leonard’s-in-the-Fields Church, featuring a varied and engaging programme of vocal performances adjudicated by Libby Crabtree.
The session opened with Class 116: Vocal Solo – Popular Song (Under 16). Performers included Emilie Boulet singing “Suddenly I See” by KT Tunstall, Millie Nicolson performing “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Paul Simon, and Amelie Hay with “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten.
In Class 117: Vocal Solo – Popular Song (Aged 16–17), Bayleigh Neil performed “The Climb”, Lila Duffy sang “My Heart Will Go On” by James Horner, Ella O’Flaherty delivered “Wildfire”, and Lily-Mae Stewart performed “You Know I’m No Good” by Amy Winehouse.
This was followed by Class 118: Vocal Solo – Popular Song (18 & Over), featuring Alexandra Paton performing “Driver’s License” by Olivia Rodrigo.
The programme then moved into classical repertoire. In Class 110: Vocal Solo – Opera or Oratorio (Aged 14–15), Nicole Dudau performed “Torna di Tito a lato” from La clemenza di Tito by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The session concluded with Class 115: Vocal Solo – Opera or Oratorio (Aged 16–17). Performers included Esme Davies with “Che farò senza Euridice” by Christoph Willibald Gluck, Frederick Wood performing “Nessun Dorma” by Giacomo Puccini, Tatiana Veleva singing “L’ho perduta” by Mozart, and Caitlin Jack with “Gli sguardi trattieni” from Orfeo ed Euridice by Gluck.
