The dates of the 2012 Perthshire Musical (Competition) Festival are:

Monday 5th to Saturday 10th & Monday 12th to Saturday 17th March

Venues

The 2012 Perthshire Musical (Competition) Festival will be held in two Perth venues. After a number of years of using Perth Concert Hall for the Scottish Country Dancing and the Bands and Orchestras, we have made the decision to try the auditorium of the fairly recently opened North Inch Community Campus in Gowans Terrace for these classes this year.  This facility is being used by an increasing number of local groups and seats upwards of 350 people, mainly in tiered seating, with excellent disabled access.  Public transport from the centre of town is frequent (we shall have further information on this on the website) and there is free on-street parking in addition to the free car park, with disabled parking clearly signposted.  The remainder of the classes will again take place in St Leonard’s-in-the-Fields Church, which is the imposing building on the corner of Marshall Place and Scott Street.  On-street parking is available and disabled access is via Scott Street.

Closing Date

The closing date for entries for the 2012 Perthshire Musical (Competition) Festival is Friday 20th January, 2012.  Late entries can be accepted up to Friday 27th January, 2012, provided a surcharge of £10 is added per late entry.
