Vocal Music Classes
Our Vocal Music Classes
include Choirs, Solos, Duos, Ensembles and Singing Games, catering for
all ages.
The class for Nursery Schools or Groups to perform Action Songs or
Singing Games is to continue this year as is the non-competitive class
for youth choirs of any age. See the

Instrumental Music
Classes
Our Instrumental Music
Classes include Piano, Organ, Keyboard, Scots Fiddle, Accordion, Bagpipes and Chanter, Violin, Viola, Cello,
Double Bass, Guitar, Recorder, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon,
Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba, Cornet, Flugel Horn,
Tenor Horn, Baritone Horn, Euphonium, Drumkit, Snare Drum and Xylophone
and cater for all ages in solos, duos, ensembles, bands and orchestras.
This year, we are
expanding the recital classes for strings, woodwind and brass, with competitors free to choose their own
music. We have also added Pipe Band drumming classes. See

Music is Fun!
We welcome entries from
any musicians, either solo or groups, with the accent very much on
enjoyment and absolutely no limitations on resources such as amplified
equipment. There are classes in both Senior and Junior categories and
they are both non-competitive. See the

Dance Classes
We cater for
Scottish
Country Dancing at all ages and stages.
Speech Classes
Our Speech Classes include
Verse Speaking, Scots Poems, Robert Burns, William Soutar, Shakespeare,
Bible Reading, Prepared Reading and Recital, catering for all ages.
In line with the 'Music is Fun' classes,
we have non-competitive 'Poetry for Pleasure' classes where performers
have a free choice of poem.
We are retaining the expanded
Prepared Reading section as well as the new Public Speaking classes for
various ages. See the

Girlguiding
We have classes
specifically for all ages of the Girlguiding movement, from Rainbows
through to Young Leaders. These are to be found in the
Scottish
Country Dancing as well as in a section catering for Action Songs and
Campfire. See the
